Skills, also known as empowerments are add-ons to guards that enhance their fighting ability. Certain skills can only be added on to certain species of guards, such as "ARMY" on "HUMANOID". The only way of getting skills is to expend Crystals of Life to add a random one onto a guard. Some guards, such as Collossus, have passive skills.
